In the heart of Carlsberg Byen, Copenhagen, a new kind of cinema experience has taken shape. Reservoir Cinema, developed by ATM Design in collaboration with Nordisk Film, reimagines the way we gather for film. Intimate, architectural, and quietly luxurious, every detail of the space has been designed to enhance focus and connection.
Among these details, the lighting plays a central role. For this project, ANOUR developed a bespoke version of our DONYA Table lamp – introducing the Donya Moon shade in the table version for the first time. Crafted in white onyx, the arc-shaped shade softens and directs the light into a calm, focused glow. Placed discreetly between the seats, the lamps illuminate without distraction, shaping an atmosphere that feels personal, almost private.
What began as a tailored solution for Reservoir Cinema has since become part of the DONYA Universe. The Moon shade now joins the classic glass sphere as a permanent expression within the collection – two distinct interpretations of the same language of design and form.
