In the heart of Bernikow Gården, a new space has come to life — a smørrebrød restaurant that feels at once familiar and refreshingly new. Created by Rørt – Handy Smørrebrød, in collaboration with Simon Nygaard Hoff from Wonderland Creative Agency, the restaurant reimagines Danish culinary culture through a lens of colour, creativity and community.
To complement the tactile materiality and soft colour palette, Rørt features a selection of ANOUR lighting: the G-MODEL Pendant in polished stainless steel, floating weightlessly above the booths, its linear form reflecting the space in subtle distortion; the PAPILIO Wall Lamp, casting a gentle ambient glow across the pastel walls; and the delicate DONYA Pendant, adding moments of sculptural warmth throughout.
Together, they create a rhythm of light and reflection, minimal yet expressive, echoing Rørt’s own philosophy of craft and care.
Every detail in the interior tells a story, from the playful artworks and handcrafted ceramics to the warm tones of pine and mustard textiles. It’s a place where design meets atmosphere, and where modern craftsmanship becomes part of the dining experience.
